Meet the Artist
Jessica Sweeney, the artist behind J Shipley Art, is a self-taught marine and wildlife painter based in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Working primarily in oils, her vibrant, detail-rich paintings celebrate the beauty and diversity of the natural world—especially the creatures that inhabit Florida’s coastal waters.
With a lifelong love for the ocean and the outdoors, Jessica draws inspiration from her surroundings and the incredible marine life she encounters. Her work captures the spirit and movement of fish, sea turtles, and other wildlife in bold, expressive color.
Jessica creates from her home studio and shares her art through online sales, regional events, festivals, and fishing tournaments. Prints of her work are also available in shops across Florida, connecting her passion for marine life with a growing community of collectors and ocean lovers.
